Housing Type
MOLDED HOUSING
Molded housing is made from durable plastic sections that drop into place quickly for faster installs. It won’t rust, rot, or corrode, and its smooth interior protects the cover fabric and mechanism from unnecessary wear. Lightweight and easy to handle, molded housing provides reliable drainage and pairs with a flush lid for a clean, professional finish that blends seamlessly with the pool deck.
CONCRETE HOUSING
Concrete housing is poured in place along with the other pool walls, most commonly on gunite or shotcrete pools. When done correctly, it creates a sturdy compartment for the cover system. However, complications can arise if the forms move or tolerances aren’t correct, leading to rough spots or uneven surfaces that may cause wear over time.
